IF!! thats a big if (so please people don't send me tons of email asking of you can get one cause i don't have any extras yet.)

hey showtime, did you ever find out if there was a way to fit the hood inside the car for transport? I remember talking to you about it and you said you thought you might have a way of doing it? Seems impossible, but then again, so does getting a CF hood for a contour.....

the hood will definately not fit in the car for transport

i don't know yet....my friend fit a CF hood in his accord.
in the back seat. I don't know how he got it in there but he did.
anyway....if they don't fit, when we have the meet just bring a different car....do most of you have a friend or family member with a truck/SUV?


my friend has a chevy 2500HD quad cab so thats what i'll be bringing them in.

For all us Michiganders, depending on when the meet is, I could potentially drive my f150 quad cab to the meet and transport all the hoods back to the detroit area? It's really dependand on when the meet is, but it might be a good option.

How many of us are from michigan?

Conor...i'll have to find out where everyone is, but i know a few are in central-eastern PA, NY, MD, so i was gonna have a meet in central PA so it was close for everyone, but if your gonna drive from Michigan, We could do 2 meets one in central PA, and another in Ohio somewhere...Like Akron or something.
At least that would cut 4-5hrs(each way) out of your driving.

Even if your just coming for your hood I cold meet you in Ohio somewhere so you don't have to drive so far...Like Summit or somewthing. I'm in Pittsburgh so Summit is like 1-2hr or so away

Showtime: Since I am in the burg like every other month (more over the holidays) and assuming we can get these into the SVT or my girls POS 93 Jetta (hatchback + fold down seats).

If needed, I can pick up any hoods bound for the Phil, NJ, MD, NYC area.

I live about 3 miles from the PA Turnpike (2 turns)
30+ minutes to downtown Phily
2 hours from NYC downtown
2 1/2 from downtown DC.

Just an offer if needed. (helping a fellow CEG save a buck or 2)
