I have been there before, I didn't go into the springs though. There was a chick in a BMW 2002 that we were trying to keep up with. My friends and I were in a `82 Chevy Cavalier. Made good time back home though. Lava Hot Springs to N. Ogden in 45 mins!
The car survived, the tires didn't. We must have exceded the speed rating because we left and the tires were fine. When we got to my house, the steel belts were gone!
