Viewing these many posts over the past years, comparing brake pads to brake pads, what I have discovered is that certain brake pads suit certain driving styles. I don't know how else to say it. There is nothing wrong with having a different style of driving, that's what makes us different. So bottom line is to purchase a pad that works best for you. I have heard, personally, feedback from some local Contour/Cougar owners that applaude the KVRs and can't stand EBC. I have also heard opposite opinions, that KVR are garbage and EBC are the best. Same goes for and against Mintex. Heck, I only can voice what has worked for me, and that is KVR.
