I don't know if this matters or not... but since we're on the subject of coolant.... I have had an abnormal amount of oil in my coolant water (missing the same amount of oil from the crankcase) after using WaterWetter (which I will no longer use... don't really need it anyway). Strange enough, if I use just water and antifreeze, all is normal... if I use WaterWetter, within 1 day I have oily water (same color as crankcase oil) and am missing crankcase oil... If I don't use WW, I never miss oil from the crankcase and my water stays clean... besides suggesting the obvious (such as don't use WW) Can anyone explain this.....
I understand that WW can free up dirt and contaminants and get an oily film... but to be missing crankcase oil, only to have it collect in the overflow bottle enough to stain the bottle near-black... is this normal behavior for WW?
In any case, I'm not using WW anymore... though Redline's fuel injector cleaner seems to work extremely well.

Dexcool works fine in my car. It did take a lot of patience to flush out all the green stuff before switching to Dexcool though. No matter what coolant I use, it is still changed annually.

There is no problem mixing regular coolant and DEX-Cool. You just have to change it as often as using just regular coolant. I'm using DEX-Cool in 1st3L95 since it was filled up again. It's real easy to totally flush out the green coolant completely if you have a pressurized flush machine. But seeing I have a brand new block and rebuilt heads, I just flushed the radiator and heater core out with water, then filled the whole sucker up with DEX-Cool.

PranQster - Sounds like you have a head gasket problem.
