For some reason I didn't get a confirmation e-mail from PayPal on this but not to worry it's in the account.

For the newbies (oh right, we're all newbies!), do you guys know how to take out the old emblem?

Ingredients:
1. Patience
2. 2 really flat heat screw drivers (small and thin)
3. Using one of the screw drivers pry around the emblem
4. Using the other one, pull/wedge out the emblem
5. Continue 3 and 4 with great patience! Do not scratch the chrome strip.
6. Remove black adhesive and clean off
----
To apply the emblem use some strong expoxy, jb weld or something crazy like that. Do not use double sided foam tape since it will raise the emblem and will take away from the flush look (OEM as one member said). There is some play top and bottom (1mm or less) on the emblem so leave your trunk raised and center the emblem and let sit for the hardening process (prob 20 minutes or so depending on what you used). Let it cure over night and you are set!

Is there no type of double sided tape that will work? The epoxy will make it an unreversable mod. I'm just curious, I intend on using the epoxy.

This was just a personal preference. Without taking off the tape backing insert and see if you like it. I personally thought it looked OEM with it set more inside the oval.
