There is NO FILTER in the contour tranny, there is a screen, buried deep inside the transmission. It is NOT serviceable.
The difference between a filter and a screen, is the size of particulate matter ti allows through. The screen only prevents large pieces of suspended matter from flowing, but does not stop normal metal particles from tranny wear.
