Shop charge for wp/coolant flush/thermostat will be about 3 1/2 hours plus parts.
You don't say if AAMCO is doing wp but I believe them to be blameless, just unfortunate coincidence. Weakness in OEM plastic pump impeller the problem, not crud in coolant.
