I own a 98 Tour SE automatic. I have an in-dash monitor with seperate dvd player and the 98 console doesn't have enough slots for this. I was wondering if it is possible to get a pre 98 console and directly replace it? If not is it even possible? And if it is possible how can it be done? Really appreciate your help on this one. If anybody knows of a local junk yard that they can get me one I would greatly appreciate that too. I will pay for it if anyone can find one for me. Will pay shipping as well as a little tip for helping. Thanks in advance!

Its been done and some people had no problem with the switching out, and some say one piece doesnt stay in right. I cant remember excatly who has done it but I think Antonio Wright and/or Krafty are ones who have done it .You might want to get ahold of them just to see if it was them.

Hope it helps, might be a lil help but...

Call Bairds Auto Parts, they're in KY...not sure where though but I *think* they're in Louisville. Phone Number is 1-800-828-1075. Last time I talked to them they 3-4 in the yard, all with atx surrounds.
