We had a great time on Saturday. I wish we would have stayed and gone to dinner. Maybe next time. It was great to see all of you. For those who showed on Sunday, sorry we missed you.
The heat was a bit much. I don't think I ever drank that much in my life. But it was still a good time. It was nice seeing some tours winning some awards.
Thanks Mike(CobraR) for coming on the test drive with me. And thanks to Ryan for finding a ride home for you know who!!! I owe you won.
It feels great driving a tour again. The ride home was awesome, eventhough I took it easy. I stopped at the Texaco, that we met at, on the way home and the first person I saw asked me if I was taking the car to the track!
Thanks again everyone!!! It was fun!

I feel sorry for the people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, thats the best they're going to feel all day - former President Lyndon B. Johnson

the SHO turnout was awesome! I kept commenting on it. I even said "I bet if we check the SHO forums, they did like us and planned to meet at FFW". we got questioned like mad about the RI SHO. someone came by and kept asking "whose is that?" etc etc and we had no clue.
also, some girl and her b/f came up to us at the end of the day and were asking where the SVT people got their mesh from. they said she had an svt contour (parked in the damn dirt lot!) and wanted in on that. go elky, do your mesh thing. he gave them his email. any word from them yet, elky?

Ya, we had planned on the forum, but the sad thing is, we had about 8-10 more that were supposed to come, said they would, but never showed. One member came but was not allowed into the field since it was past 2, another didn't think their car was SHOw worthy and left it out in the lot, and both days I spotted a gen III sho out in the parking lot. Sunday was great, there was a marauder lurking out there :drools: I want to smack that guy for not showing!! As for the RI-SHO, the owner is Edien Ibanez out of Pawtucket, RI. If you want some more of his car, check out www.ri-sho.com it was his lil bro that took it up. If you saw it, I drove up the TR 99 SHO. I'm guessing "Elky" was the owner of the meshed 'tour. That looked sick!!! Since we all have such a large number of SHO/'Tour enthusiasts, we have to team up!! Someone thought you guys didn't like us, after I commented that we should have moved next to your line I don't know how true that is, but I'm definitely a 'Tour lover!

Sho...thanks for the compliment, but if you were looking at a silver 'tour, you were probably looking at CobraR's and if you were looking at a black one it was GR8SVT's, mine was the not so nice silver one.
No word yet from that chick or her boy about the mesh...
you think racoon face was bad...you should see it right now, i look like a 900 year old mummy with all my skin falling off my face...Oh well.... it was a fun weekend despite the heat and the burn.
