Is this DMD heavier than what its replacing?
DemonSVT check weights - DMD is 1 lb heavier than stock damper. Because it is a small radius pulley it will have much less effect of reving/power than say 1lb added or lost from a large radius flywheel for example. Basically negligable change in the speed in which the engine spools up. Infact, several companies than make aftermarket dampers (such as Fluidamper) claim power increases from reduced crank bending friction. Not to mention the REAL value here - less wear on bearings the "Achilles Heel" of the Duratec. Extra smoothness is just a nice side effect. Runs smooth as a BMW now (seriously).
