Yes, heavier, but so, so, so smooth. Besides, not sure of the dynamics of being at that end of crank. Sure doesn't seem to affect how mine pulls revs. In fact, w/much lighter flywheel I put on at same time,m it hits 6750 so fast I can't believe it!
