2G Sport and Athlon7,
It should work for an ATX Duratec powered car. I don't think there's anything on that side of the engine that is transmission specific. DMD stands for dual mode damper. Basically it looks like a regular crankshaft dampener with an extra attached. If you do a search, there is someone with a picture of them both.
What is does is absorbs crankshaft vibrations at two rpm ranges instead of one. These vibrations on some vehicles have been the cause of engine failure. Do a search on "crank whip" and you'll get the gory details.
I got it for $138 dollars from Terry Haines and had it installed at a Ford dealership at the cost of an hour and a half labor which worked out to about $105.
If you want a smoooooth revving engine, the DMD is the way to go. I can't wait to drive to work tomorrow just to explore the smoothness in the upper RPM ranges.
PA 3L SVT, when you say third do you mean third liter?

I'm jealous of you 3L guys. If I lived close to Terry and I could drop my car off without the wife knowing what I was up to, I'd have a 3L by now. Oh well.
