Oh okay, that makes sense too. I'm surprise the goo gone didn't take care of that. It sounds almost like a chemical from the sticker ate at the clear coat on the edges. Or maybe other chemicals set and evaporated around those edges leaving a nasty residue that damaged the clear coat. Like soap or window cleaner ran down to the sticker and just lingered on the edges instead of being washed away. ??? Got me, wish I could offer more advice.
