Lee - I just went to the car parts store on my lunch break and picked up that cleaner stuff. I asked for electronics cleaner and they sold me Carb and throttle body cleaning fluid. Is that what I need?? I also bought a new paper filter to see if it helps.

Yeah that should work but you need to get Brake Cleaner as well to get the carb cleaner off the contacts. Just spray it into the resistors let it sit for a minute or two then spray it with brake cleaner. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and dry. While it's drying disconnect the postive (red) Battery cable to clear the computer of it's memory. Also while you have the filter out check the intake tube for oil from your K&N it might have been over oiled. If it is oily take the whole intake track from the fender well to the throttle body out of the car and spray the inside of it out with Brake Cleaner. If you need more help PM me and let me know what's going on.
Oh and don't let the stuff sit in your car in the HEAT! It's highly flamable and explosive!

well i finally took the time to actually read all the way thru this post.....i just assumed that since meets are always on saturdays, i can never come anyways, but with this much notice, i can take off of work......so if it is on the 28th, then i am game......i cant believe i am actually gonna attend a meet!  so i am gonna put in to be off from work.......and if anyone needs me to bring anything, i will be more than happy too....there will probably be two of me....a male and female version...so put me down for two! cant wait to meet some of you guys!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I fixed my car!!  I couldn't have done it, however, without the help from Lee!! My car is all better now and I'm happy again. I will definitely be at this meet and I hope everyone else will too.

Eric you can go ahead and plan for the meet after the one coming up if it makes you feel better! J/K!! You did a great job planning the one that didn't happen. Its everyone else's fault that it didn't happen (including me). It would have been a great meet. I am determined to make the next meet and I hope everyone else is too!

Look at it this way Eric, You picked the place, the time, and got the interest going. I've just exstended it out so more people can come. It's still your meet, just a little later.
As for the next one I say we do Nashville in January. We'll get alot of Middle TN people and maybe some Kentucky people too. Then have Knoxville in May with some NC/VA/WV people? What do you guys think? Then we can do Chattanooga again in September. Have the locals take care of the when, where, and how.

Sounds good Lee. Only 4 meets a year though?? I think Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg could be fun for a meet. Just a thought.
