OK guys, this is it! July 6th, Montreal, Quebec, we are having our first major local meet of the year.
We are having a special guest coming up from NYC for the weekend, so we need a big turn out. We were thinking of starting out in Montreal, and maybe caravaning up to Mont Tremblant for beers, food, and the sights.
The more the merrier, so chime in people, and clear your calendars!!!!

Guys,
This would be a cool meet. I am going to Mont Tremblant for camping on July 1st weekend. But I already asked the girlfriend about going to the meet and I will say 70% chance so far. Will update this thread. I am having troubles still with the O2 sensor, and brake pads for the back. So I was going to get that done. Leaving for Newfoundland again the following weekend. Oh I seen a thread, "Who made the most mileage non-stop"(stop for gas, of course), and I did 3400km from Ottawa to North Sydney(18 hours), then on to Newfoundland. So thats pretty long. I am sure someone drove across canada in a contour. I also drove in newfoundland the same time both sides(10-12 hours) total.
Anyways, back to the meet. I have to drop the girlfriend off to a friends, and meet up with everyone. Where, what time( sharp ), and complete destination afterwards. Going over for a day trip, but don't mind coming back around 8:30 - 9:00. I will try to get my car fixed, so I can make it. Hey, Mani email me your cell, and I will try to phone you before leaving Ottawa. I won't mine seeing a nice SVT on the way. Also anyone else from Ottawa. freddy3675@yahoo.com

Sweet!! I'll see what my wife has to say about that, but she was going to Montreal that weekend anyway, so I doubt she will need much convincing!! Keep us posted! PS - Us Ottawa guys should meet up somewhere and convoy our behinds to Montreal!

All right, all right, I'll make an effort and put the splitter back on.. :p Hehe.. I'm so psyched for this, we're gonna have a ball. Slim Shady is coming up from NY with his girlfriend, they're staying in Montreal for a couple days. Tropic Green SVT! Saturday is a "family" meet. Long cruise up to Tremblant, show'n'shine, patio, etc.. Girlfriends are expected to join in!  Bring the cameras, let's get some video going on as well!

Naah, but it's this year's biggest meet to date. When folks drive up from NY to hang out with us I hope we put our collective pants on and make a good showing, hmm? I hope to see no slacking from the Montreal CEGers this time! Add that coat of wax, vacuum that interior, finish up that last mod, but for the love of God just please SHOW UP!
