I had the SMA torque Brace. Solid piece of metal that replaced the Stab-o-Shoc. I didn't really see any benefit to it, other than inducing more NVH in the pedals. Oh yeah, with 1.5yrs on it, its about to break. the OE part has been reinstalled and the annoying harshness is gone.
I say go Stab-O-Shoc, plus, the rigidity puts an extra load on the rest of the roll restrictors.
