I had the Cool Blues in my car (lows and highs) for about six months. I noticed the difference at first, but I felt like I blended in after awhile.

I am now running HeiloLite (sp?) all-weather bulbs. They give me a slightly yellowish tint. Well, yellow unless you are extremely off center of the lamp (like standing above looking down), then they look purple. Kinda cool. smile The cops have never bothered me for them. Currently in the high beam spot are a set of Astra 100w clear units. I am extremely happy with my current setup. I may go slightly more yellow after inspection.

I bought the CoolBlues at Checker, I don't know if they are that far east though. AutoZone carries Sylvania though. smile

The yellow ones I got from a small rice shop in my town. I bought the 100w bulbs off the net, from autooptiks.com .

Hope this helps. smile

Edit: Oh, the bulbs were about $20/set. I got the CoolBlues on an employee discount so they were WAY cheap.

I had CoolBlues in before my current set. I like them. They were fairly bright and more white then blue. My current ones are a HID wannabe. laugh These are a lot more blue but not that damn navy blue that the ricers have. :p

I have the coolblues installed on my 'tour now. I agree that after a while they seem to lose a little brightness, but these bulbs have lasted longer than any other I have used (2 years!). I picked mine up at autozone on st charles rock road in STL. Can't remember how much they cost, but I'd say they are worth it.
