I have the lockout tower installed on my E0 and it does't actually require me to use the pull-up collar to get into reverse. It does prevent me from dropping into R from 5 by accident. Works just like I want it to. Wierd, but I'm not complaining. And I can run the boot up to the base of the shift knob.
