If you frequent car shows in the STL area/ Southern IL area you will probably run across us. I was thinking that some of you Contour drivers would make good candidates for membership, so if you're interested let me know. We are a mini truck & sport compact car club. If any of you cruise South County on weekends you may have seen us........ We hold an annual car show in RedBud, IL and have about 16 or so members (a couple from STL) 10 of our members (including me) will be trekking out to Ohio this July 26-28 for the annual Jbody.org carshow called the JBash. This show is for mainly J-Body cars which are the newer Chevy Cavaliers & Pontiac Sunfires. We will be going out there to judge their show for the second year in a row. Last year there was over 300 J-body cars attending. Its a really fun trip. We also attended the NOPI show last year, and several other large shows. Just a few of the things we do!!!!! Previously, a Missouri chapter of EnVuS also existed. But to my knowledge, they didn't help out enough with the money, and had several people in the club who weren't inducted in the correct manner. (had "not-so-nice" vehicles, weren't voted in....etc,etc,) So now there is no MO chapter.... They still might have the stickers though....(sigh) Well, let me know what you guys think about the post.....and anything (Bad or Good) you have heard about my club!!! Spelling should not count 2000 SE Zetec ATX Medium Steel Blue (Now with large custom dent on the rear door) Cool Blue Lows, Silver Star Highs (great lights) "If what I said was wrong, it wasn't. I don't think he will ever try to race a SVT again. I haven't heard anything about the club. 1998.5 Contour SVT **Mods KKM Intake/Custom Exhaust/Custom Spoiler/B&M Short Throw Shifter/Eibach Springs/and of course a stereo Future Mods** I have plenty in mind. It could be Travis, He lives in STL..... he has a stepside extended cab S-10 (Yes, its a 4 banger, so don't brag to much Matt) But I think He has wheels and some nice interior mods... hehe.... Don't worry I am not impressed with beating a truck. When we get the flyers up I'll scan one and you guys can see the classes... Should be an interesting year...... we have decided on a new logo...(attachments to come) Several guys got new vehicles...and others have had a very busy winter working on their rides...
