okay, from the small amount of searching around this site it looks like the best place to start is an SVT exhaust...anyone have one laying around for sale? make me commit to buying it now before i lose my arse in vegas!!

I believe that buckshot77 has the svt exhaust for sale and also SVTSTS has the exhaust for sale. I do not know what they are charging for thiers though. I would sell you mine but it has already been promised to Tim. In the response to things to add to your car I know Tim will tell you to get some rims. You should look into getting an intake and depending on your engine and budget maybe look into getting a 3.0L and/or getting the turbo kit coming out. Also look at getting a short throw if you have a mtx. Or doing some suspension mods.

right, i figure i'll start with the svt exhaust, an intake of some sort, and whatever else i can come across cheap. right now my budget is focused on two wheeled tuning. my race bike is in a million pieces and my first race is march 23rd at gateway! http://www.fistcity.org/pics/ohio101301/ yeah, we race scooters!! jim

Your my new buddy, I've been wondering if that had caught on up here. I have two Ysr's On 50cc and one 80cc. both race moded. I have been looking at the scooter thing. As far as mods, 3 basics to start with
1. Intake
2. Exhaust
3. wheels
I can help install all of the above. If your looking for an intake, I'm running the KKM. Been really happy with. I will be doing the SVT exhaust soon. And if Dobbs can get these wheels balanced, They should be on this weekend. If you help or parts, PM me or email me at timfiredog@aol.com.

P.S. if you need help tuning those little things, let me know. I owned a High Pro. Motorcycle Shop in texas back in the day. Small engines are my expert area. Might have a few tricks up my sleeve, plus I'd be intrested in joining up.

well like i said, it is in a million pieces right now for a major overhaul and paint. adding dropped handlebars/cut 2" out of the forks/shaved 40lbs. off of the frame/re-routing exhaust/adding suzuki motorcycle tank/and porting the engine to all hell. when it's done i wouldn't have any problems with letting people ride it...but keep in mind it is very fast and very scary. stock 60's suspension and drum brakes!!

very nice tim, i've been interested in checking out some ysr's as well. we race at a few ysr tracks in the midwest. any mods on you ysr's? what kind of hp are you making? give me your # so we can meet up and do some talk about 2w racing.

I did get the wheels put on , and they won't balance for some reason. Yes, the YSR's are both full mods. The 50cc is running a Team Kalamari Race engine, toumi pipes, The 80 has been clocked well over 80 mph
