FPR (Fuel rail pressure) sensor. It tells the difference between the fuel rail pressure and the pressure/vacuum on the intake manifold. Pretty neat stuff.
There are MANY sensors that tell the PCM how much fuel to pump out and when. And when to trigger the coil, etc. Then we have to mess with environmental maps and all kinds of crazy stuff. %75 Of which is required by the EPA.
