What has Vortech done to improve the jackshaft? Did everyone know they now make it for returnless fuel as well? It apparently comes with larger injectors and is documented in the instruction manual they have online.

I want to thank everyone for their reply. Vortech was just getting beat up over the SC. They have stood behind this product and I think all of us who have good luck and service from Vortech need to let everyone know, thanks.

The main shaft assembly would strip the teeth of the SC or the shaft itself would strip (bad case of wrong heat treat or cryo treating) Original SC's dropped like flies, the new shafts seem solid.

If I decide to go with the SC Kit is there a way to tell it has a faulty main shaft? And when that shaft dies.. does it pooch ur engine?

If you buy the new kit you will get the latest jackshaft. I have nothing but excellent service from Vortech. Sorry to hear the Corey has had problems with customer service, that has not been my experience.

Anytime I do call Vortech I do speak with someone of decent knowledge and are sincere in trying to help me. They wont however replace my shaft till it goes bad (wont be long now), they even rejected my plead to purchase it and exchange for a slight discount. (they want over $500 for that shaft assembly)

Did the civic SI kits have a similiar problem with the jackshaft? Did they get resolved? Are we pretty confident that the problem is handled then? Thanks!
