The first Cougar Eliminator used an Eaton "roots-type" supercharger. I'm pretty sure it was mounted on the intake manifold.

The second iteration of the Cougar Eliminator used the Vortech "centrifugal" supercharger, which was mounted where the battery and airbox were located.

Apparently, there was a third iteration that used the 3L engine and - incredibly - an Eaton. Here's a pic:
