I just got my Bassani installed, and it is great! I have a supercharged car and the idiots who did the SC install put a sick Magnaflow system on that sounded too "ricey" for me. The Bassani is noticeably quieter and lower in tone than it was. But the biggest improvement is how different it revs and makes boost now. It makes more boost and gets there quicker. The tone is lower and somewhat louder than stock, but not overly loud, and no drone! A nice piece of work that fits like a charm and bolts up like a breeze!
In short, I love it!!

No problems with the SC yet. I wil have some dyno results by the middle of next week, as it is getting a new custom chip, and will be dyno'd at the same time, I believe. I will post the results. Others have seen anywhere from 269 to 290 at the wheels. I am hoping to see similar now that I am able to push the air through. I have the SHO Shop Y-pipe and high flow cat, as well.

It makes more boost and gets there quicker. How can a supercharger whose speed is governed by crankshaft speed make more boost if the exhaust is changed? -Kurt

I'm no expert, but if the exhaust is restricting the flow out (and therefore the charge in the cylinders) and that restriction is removed the engine will breath easier allowing it to accelerate to higher revs faster and produce more boost as a result of the higher revs. Same boost at any particular RPM but if you're talking about 0-60 or 1/4mi then it will produce more boost due to getting the revs up quicker. Although I agree it's probably a placebo as much as anything

Exhaust is great huh. peace Thats a turbo car. Big exhausts[to big for N/A engines] work very well on turbo's because with a turbo you want the turbo to be the only restriction in the exhaust. A system that large on a N/A or supercharged[not turbo]engine will not provide good results.

Okay guys. I am not a mechanic, but here is the truth. I have never seen more than 7lbs. of boost from my SC till I got the Bassani. I now can see 9lbs. Let me just say you all can spout your theories, but my boost gauge is the same gauge that was on the car one hour before the exhaust went on.
As I understand things, if your car is pushing more air thru the intake, and there is not a clean path for all that air, it cannot push as much. That is certainly what I have seen with the Bassani. In addition, the response time, from vacuum to boost is quicker.
These are the plain facts as witnessed by me and my gauge.
