The latest header I built for my work car uses full a lenght header that the turbo bolts to. I have full boost by 2600 RPM [14 lbs.]and when it comes on its like a freight train rearends you. The engine is a 2L. DSM[4 banger] If you size the piping correctly that will help tremendously, make the piping to large and you will lose velocity and that will cause problems.
