...Well, if you want my honest opinion, I think Chris should go for an equal length shorty header for this turbo charger application. Point them downwards and have them collect somewhere around the removed battery location. There is room.
Have you ever looked under the hood of a Contour with a V6? That last statement leads me to believe not. As for the statement about "lets have a quality turbo kit" I think the kit will speak for itself in a very short time.
It's all fun to talk about a turbo system, but when professional engineering decisions get questioned, it gets ugly. Have any of you ever met a member of the SAE?
I've said this before, and I feel I have to say this again.
This is not the "CEG Turbo Kit". If it was, then you get to design it.This kit is being made because I personally received over
80 emails stating people WOULD pay for this, and where REALLY serious about putting one on their car. I had about $40,000 worth of promised deposits. How much have we received?? Lets just say this is a charity case right now, with a rediculous amount of optimism on all involved.
If you are purchasing the turbo kit, you get to complain about what you purchase.
