I've been pretty much a naturally aspirated fan to date . . . probably a little intimidated by all that is required for supercharging. My question regarding adding a supercharger to a Contour 2.5L is the block and reciprocating assembly. To add much pressure, I've always thought that a heavier block, forged steel crank & rods, ceramic rings, S.S. valves, larger radiator, etc. is necessary for dependable service. What I haven't seen to date for the Contour is parts to heavy up the bottom end of the engine and the block itself. Any help in getting pointed in the right direction would be appreciated.
