Damn You Thomas!!!

You had to go and put ideas into my head ... now wallet is $57 lighter.

However, I will have 3 new books in about a week:

1) Maximum Boost : Designing, Testing, and Installing Turbocharger Systems by Corky Bell
2) Sport Compact Nitrous Injection by Joe Pettitt
3) Supercharging, Turbocharging, & Nitrous Oxide Performance Handbook (Powerpro) by Earl Davis, Diane Davis

You suck! laugh

P.S. Thanks wink

Best Regards,

Trevor Cole

I have Maximum Boost, it's a very good book. I know what you mean about the wallet being lighter! The books are great, but it adds up to lots of $$$ in a short time. wink

I have another good turbocharging book, but I can't remember th name of it. I know it's a popular book, and it's been around longer than Corky Bell's book. I'll have to look for it...

Gator VR4 - think before you post dude. Nitrous is not forced induction. Forced induction is a manner of getting more air into the chamber for a larger explosion (requires more gas also). Nitrous does not qualify.

Have you put in your $0.02 to save contour.org?? Put in what you can spare to keep the site up. Check the General Forum.

"Technically" you are right Rubberducky, but in the end ultimately wrong. When you inject N2O into your intake it is true that you are not pressurizing your intake mainfold, or forcing more air into the engine from the atmosphere. What you are doing is adding massive amounts of oxygen into your engine, thus requiring timing retard and added fuel(two things you HAVE TO DO ALSO WITH FORCED INDUCTION). So, yes, it isn't, but it is. :p

Nitrous is injected into an engine at 900psi or higher. If that's not "forced induction" I don't know what is...

Think before YOU post...
