This will do until Mark gets a picture up of his... It's a bit crude, but it should help you visualize. The reason for the loop would be to keep a slight bit of oil in the downward portion of the feed line going toward the SC during no oil pressure for the few seconds during start up of the engine.

So, that means the hose I have is to short. I guess I am off to the parts store this weekend. Mark, I still would love to see those pics.

they are hopin some ppl have problems when their warrantee runs out thats why

what problems did they mean? both the spline and seals?

Heheheheheh, all I have at work is MS paint unless I want to spend the time on CAD drawings for a freaking hose loop. :rolleyes: All of the good programs are at home...

At least I understood what a loop in the feed line hose was for and what it should look like.

My main concern was the shaft, they said if you havent had a problem yet, you be ok. Since mine hasnt been installed on a car for awhile I already know what its fate will be (unfortunetly)

The seals should be ok, the loop makes sense and I am sure that they have used similar seals in the past on other applications without problems

I think they'ed be more helpfull Knu if they knew the history of the unit and also knew that it was one of the first kits produced. Get it swapped out before any questions arrise... It for sure wasn't a treated shaft compared to the one Rick has...
