I know after talking to Rick that anyone who has a SC needs to talk with Mark or Terry if you haven't already. It seems Vortech has admitted to some things that some have gone on to hopefully fix by changing the oil feed location as well as the oil return line location.

On Buckshot's block, he drilled and tapped the return line into the lower portion of the girdle of the block instead of the oil pan (quicker return and no chance of the oil level blocking the return line). Front side, just above the Ford oval cast into the block's girdle is the location.

The oil feed For Rick's car will come from a tap in near the factory oil filter location, from a line leading to the Accusump. This will quicken the oil feed to the SC instead of it running dry waiting for oil to flow to the heads to feed it.

Just a note, the upgraded shaft design we're thinking of will not be on the car by SZ02 most likely. It just all works out to time that he/we need to get the car running and tuned by then. BTW, it'll hopefully start tonight!!! eek
