Can't think of a better reason to see if the Escape/Tribute 3.0 will work for the swap

Yes you could put a whipple supercharger on just about any car, However if you are talking about puting Kenne Bell's kit for the Escape on a Contour or Cougar there would be very little of the parts in the kit that you could use on the Contour or Cougar besides the Whipplecharger itself. You would be better off buying a Whipplecharger and making your own kit, because that is basicly what you would be doing by buying the Kenne Bell kit and not getting to use most of the kit.

Reread my post regarding the Kenne Bell ... it states paraphrased("a good reason to see if the Tribute/Escape 3.0 would swap directly in"). Notice that almost all 3.0 swaps have been done using the Taurus/Sable 3.0 and/or LS 3.0 ... nobody has tried the Escape/Tribute. If it does indeed bolt up (I'm sure hood clearance would an issue, but EASILY remedied), whala, instant aftermarket for 3.0 superchargers.

Transversly mounted, this application would have the TB pointing at the Firewall ... it would not b a direct fit and there would be plumbing issues with the intercooler they are running/appear to be running.

Actually,
after looking at the webpage, there doesnt appear to be an intercooler there, and if you are familiar with the Eaton, you can flip that intake portion of it 180 degrees to point to the front, or you could just mount a "fuelie" teardrop topp fueler hood scoop on it, and not worry about the hood clearance problems at all...

Or you could find a different place to mount the supercharger.... Hmmmm I wonder where......teeheeeheee
