Umm ... you are criticising a turbo kit that is currently being design/developed and tested and has no release date yet and comparing it to what ... some half-assed wild idea as to what would be better? The only thing you have to compare it to is a Vortec, which happens to have a 100% failure rate on the Contour. Hell, all you have to do is get ANYTHING up and running boost that doesn't destroy your engine and it will be a sucess compared to the Vortec alternative.
As far a boost device type, please explain to me exactly how a roots style blower would be better than a turbo? A turbo is much more flexable as far as boost is concerned, not to mention efficientcy!Your last coment is incorect, If you go by the old tech of the roots blower there is some merit to what you say. However the roots blower people havent been standing still either! There have been alot of advances in root blower tech that has raised the efficientcy of the roots blower well above what it used to be. Flexabilaty? How do you mean?
