Okay, I have been pondering this. First of all, wouldn't a M62 be better for the contour application? I think so, and it would be physically smaller. Concievably, we could just toss out the LIM, get rid of the secondaries all together because the blower would provide the low end torque that we needed anyway. A sheetmetal lower intake could be taller than the origional intake, and still accept the upper intake and all the stuff that goes with it (up to a point obviously). I believe it is the power stearing pump in the valley of the motor on the passenger side? That could probably be relocated (I realise this may be a bit awkward, but it could ceratinly work) this has been being done on mustangs for years as well, and it would certainly look quite stock as well. Also, I believe on GM supercharged 3.8's (don't kow about ford ones) the intercooler is incorporated into the blower by running coolant through a radiator type setup to cool the intake charge. I think it could be done as a reasonable undertaking if one had the ambition to do it. Any thoughts???
