If you mounted it where the battery goes of course you would have to use a shaft to drive it. However that would be the last place I would mount one, only after I exhausted every other possability would I mount one there. Sorry about the testy coment, I thought you were getting excited when you were using capital letters and several !!!!!!! My mistake, I apologise.
