$600 for a chip is not unreasonable. For the Weapon-R ECU (now availiable for the V6 DURATEC at Custom Cougars ) they want $649. Ok, fair enough, the Weapon-R is more like a piggyback ECU but still does the same things as a chip. Especially when you consider this is a custom tune.

FYI: After all the talk and dust has settled, not one single car, turbocharged, supercharged, V6 or 4 cyl, or a combination of any two, has layed down 302 whp like toms stock block, stock internal 4 cyl turbocharged zetec. Other competitors rods 'let go' at less hp...and at less boost. If this is the so called "half-******" way to do things, I cant wait for Tom to stop being lazy... isn't worldtours putting down that or more with stock internals??? he is the current dyno king on here.... we will see what buckshot does but he won't count as stock internals... and tom I believe worldtour know what he is talking about... he is the top HP tour here...

I think Worldtour only put down about 295 hp at the wheels. I could be wrong though. The 350 hp is the estimated crank hp, but he has done some other things since then like water injection, but hasn't dynoed with the setup yet. I'm sure somebody will let me know if I am wrong with the above...because I probably am

i am talking 302hp at the wheels that is 355 to 360hp at the engine that is on a 100% stock 2.0 zetec,no cam gears no cams all stock 18psi boost
i dont know of any one that has done this yet but i would like to hear about it if some one has

I didn't do anything fancy like changing the stroke or have a custom crank done. All I did was get a stronger set of rods and have the crank knife edged and blanced because I want to have this car last a long time as my daily driver. Tom- if I hadn't all ready commited using the vortech and such I'd be pretty interested in your kit as I've all ready got the setup for everything else including 42 lb injectors and such. Rick

i have had people contact me about doing a turbo for the v6
at this time we are looking at the zetec only and we would like to do a MTX first but will do the ATX soon

Hey let me know something about this kit. I am looking into Terry's right now, but i would like to compare the two together to see which is better overall as price, endurance, ratings, dyno and all that other good stuff comes out for a fact. then i will wager the two and make a choice, until then i give props to anyone and everyone that has done anything positive toward our cars, including Terry and turbo1.
