Why is everyone giving this guy a hard time. mad This is a capitalist country where everyone wants to make a buck, so let the man speak his peace. If his kit f*cks up, then go for the kill. I have to give him credit for wanting to go after a turbo kit for the contour. It is not an easy car to design for given the minimal space. Tom, i hope everything works out for you so you can show the guys what you can do.

I saw the Issue and the stuff looks good....let him build a car/kit.....it is not like there are people knocking our doors off the hindges to build stuff for the car..maybe if more people see that someone is doing something with one there might be hope after all......

This place still hasn't changed much. Sure wish the CEG of old would return.

FYI: After all the talk and dust has settled, not one single car, turbocharged, supercharged, V6 or 4 cyl, or a combination of any two, has layed down 302 whp like toms stock block, stock internal 4 cyl turbocharged zetec. Other competitors rods 'let go' at less hp...and at less boost. If this is the so called "half-******" way to do things, I cant wait for Tom to stop being lazy... shocked

anyone who is bashing here should be shot. This is great news for the Zetec! Terry knows his stuff but should be automatically assume no one else does??? duh.

PS. why not also post on the NECO boards, see if you can find a Cougar to throw your turbo kit into.

Hey, I have a great idea: lets all whine that there isn't enough of an aftermarket for our cars, then yell at people when they try to start making stuff.

Cool guys....cool

1turbofocus: good work, a 300+ horse focus...can you say WRC??? My question, if someone were to upgrade their engine internals, do you sell upgrades for your kit, or would they be left to their own devices?

no we will be able to go as high as you want we are testing now to hit 400hp at the wheels

we also do stort blocks or complete engines built to your specs at our machine shop, and we have an in house dyno jet dyno, and we custom tune our own chips

not diablo,not superchips, OUR OWN

I dont know any one else that does there own tuning on these cars with turbos ,diablo and superchips CAN NOT do this, and the afc and the msd is not the way to go,it is a bandaid fix and it may work but it is not the best way

that is why we got into doing our own custom ECU tuning

I was with you for a while there Tom but now you are patting yourself on the back a little too much.

Perhaps you did not know this but software for Diablo to be released to dyno's is just around the corner...temporarily you are correct.

A chip is no better or worse than the other methods. The best solution is a whole new ecu but I agree with you that is very pricey. Both of these methods put a thin veil infront of the ecu and change info. The route you are using is not the be all end all.

the 900.00 is for YES a set of 42lbs injectors recal.70mm mass air .and a chip that has been proven
Just out of curiousity how much do your chips cost? The maf and the injectors shouldn't be more than 300 that leaves 600 for a chip? I assume that your developement time was included in this price?

Hope you get that kit out on the market soon Tom. Great job on the MM&FF article.

I've got the vortech back on so I need to get out there to the dyno before it lets go again wink
