Those particular "features" of the Duratec aren't necessarily going to be problems, they are just something to be kept in mind while designing the kit. The oiling issue is not for the turbo, it's for the engine. I case you haven't been reading the forums for the past few years, there is an oiling issue with the Duratec.

Chris, I have been watching the boards for a long time and taking part in them as well! I have seen the post's concerning the supposed oiling problem. NOBODY has proved there is a oil problem with the engine. Some have even said that all the oil is pumped up into the heads and does'nt drain back into the sump.BULL! Terry even did a experiment with a head and found the oil drained right out. I know the heads on my Duratech are not full of oil when the engine is runing leaving me with a 1/2 pint of oil in the sump. Thats rediculous! If someone has that problem the drain holes in the head are almost completely stopped up and have far more important problems than deciding on wether or not to turbo there car. An example would be to learn how to properly maintain there engine to prevent the drain hole blockage in the first place.
