Well after much planning and more planning. Things are not panning out to do the 3.0 kit right now. I planned on adding a n20 kit to it anyways so I might as well get that now. So I hear alot from my "guy" on praise for the Nitrous Express, thought about Zex. Don't want to pay Venom prices... Any suggestions or feedback? Neil.... Kit numbers would be good too if you guy have any laying around. Keep in mind this will be on a regular 2.5 with MTX running a clutch master (Maybe with new tires I will hook up). Yes I will be adding a Air/Fuel gauge too.

If you want a wet system I would recomend Holley(NOS) "NOSsle" or the Nitrous Express(very clean and reliable kits from what I've heard), or if you want a dry system go with the Zex kit, it is clean and pretty simple to install(and let's not forget CHEAP!), you'll probably want a Superchips flip chip so you can optimize you fuel trim and Ignition retard settings also.

Avoid NX like the plague! They are the Vortech of the Nitrous world!

NX sucks. Steer clear at all costs. I am a Zex advocate. Kit #82011 is the "universal" kit for them. Comes with 6 jets for 55, 65, 75 shot. You can buy more jets if you like for bigger shots. Still, I would strongly suggest a bottle pressure gauge and a heater as well. The Zex kit it self is cheap, but the little add ons are what kill you...

I had a Nitrous Works Universal Wet kit on my car for a while. Never had any problems with it. If you are going for a dry kit, I'd go with Zex. If it were me, I would save up for the Venom 2000 kit. It seems to be the best one out there right now.

I loved my zex kit on the old svt. sadly It won't fit my dakota. I could blow out some low 14's if I could spray it.
the best/worst part of the zex is the 75hp limit keeps you safe but I always wanted to go 100hp.

I'm hunting for a fivespeed 95-96 se to build a fast play toy. useing all the parts I've had sitting for 4months.

in search of 95 se fivespeed to hang contourparts on.

Well..NX makes some of the best kits for Mustangs and I've heard only good things about them till now. I have a NOS Dry kit that is going to go in soon. I am only going to go with 75HP. As far as instalation is concerned, ZEX is hard to beat. The N2O:fuel ratio is asjusted according to bottle pressure. Bottle warmer is great and also N2O gauge for starters. The NOS dry kits are great too. They have a fuel pressure safety switch that will not let the N2O selenoid from activating if the fuel pressure is too low for added safety and is included in the kits. How much are you planning on running? The only diference between the different dry kits are the jets. I have a kit that is made for 4 and 6cyl that I got out of an Eclipse. All I have to do is change the jets.

Cheap entry level system, Compucar N2O in a bag kits are $369 shipped on Group Buy Center . Sometimes the Venom system shows up on there too, but nothing today that I've seen.

The fuel injected kits are all pretty much the same with varying qualities mostly just on the selenoids and the spray nozzle. If the nozzle looks like a piece of pipe with a hole drilled in it, probably not going to have a good spray pattern. Add things like purge kit (gets the air out of the line), remote bottle opener, bottle warmer, progressive controller, etc, the price can climb pretty high.

I or friend's of mine have had good luck with NOS, NX, NW, and Compucar in the past. Also, don't look past the cheaper Venom kits, they do make standard kits just like the others do, not just the 2000 kit that Trapps has.
