like i said terry, nothing against you... you probably know 100 times what i could even begin to understand... i am sure your turbo project(s) will turn out great, and reliable as hell. alot of people throw your name around on this board and i find it kind of frustrating...

i am offically a troll... so take my information and advice with a grain of salt.

You guys need to make up your minds.

Ever heard of Street Flight? That's the company making the turbo that has Chris' name attached to it. It Chris had found Blue Ribbon Turbo instead of Street Flight, and Street Flight was on here trying to sell a turbo, you guys would be saying the EXACT same thing about Street Flight that you are saying about Blue Ribbon Turbo.

Hey perry me, koolaid, and Barry went to visit blue ribbon turbo in Long island, NY about 4 months ago and there response to building a turbo was about $10,000, I guess these guys are affiliated? but not quite sure and the reception he gave us was not impressive at all plus the shop wasn't nearly up to par IMO.

why would you say something that foolish...how many turbo kits have terry haines or chris hightower put out? have you seen first hand a turbo car done by either one of them? have you ever been to terry's shop? have you seen the quality of this work? same goes for chris. i am in no way bashing terry or chris, but it just distrubs me when people put soo much blind faith in something they know nothing about.

How is it blind faith? Terry especially had been around for years, and there are dozens of people here on the CEG who HAVE seen his work first hand. What, he's not refutable unless he works on MY car? Please...That's like saying "How can you say this saleen guy knows anything about mustangs..have you actually seen one of his "saleen mustangs" or been to his shop?" Neither of them have a kit available either, but Terry's 4 banger kit has been up and running on an engine dyno for a while...I dunno about Chris'

Regardless, if this person has anything to do with blue ribbon turbo in long island, this is a guy who a few months ago was quoting $10,000 and saying it wasn't even worth it.

terry and chris are not exactly established turbo tuners.

Since you're on the topic of talking about things you know nothing about

I don't see anything wrong with "throwing around" the name of a guy who actually played a part in the development of the Contour. One day i'd like to shake his hand....show me someone as knowledgable and I'll throw his name around too...

just because he played a role in the developement, doesn't mean he can build a turbo kit... again, i am not trying to put down/bash/dismiss terry haines...

Is that all you do is stir up trouble?

Maybe that's why I get on you so much...

If you can't post anything worthwhile; just stop posting.

I know not all my posts are great, but atleast some of them have merit...
