Actually I saw guy with a 460 big block in an SN95 mustang with a Vortech and a Mondo cooler(mounted to his lower intake manifold) and even with his 4 inch cowl hood on it, he had a cut out that was pattterned off the Mondo-cooler.... Looked pretty sweet.. and on a Roots style Blower, if you cut the hood to fit it(outline, etc...) and sealed it sort of like a grabber hood, you would also reap the benefits of the colder air blowing across it helping to "cool" the intercooler and thus the charge.. the problem I see with the kit(other than the hood clearance) is that the ducting would need to be modded a tad bit(the Kenne bell ducting to the intake manifold goes up and over the intake and then down to the TB...) but that would be trival compared to cutting a hood...
I agree.. It can be done, I'd just like to see someone do it... (kinda like going to the moon, I sure as hell can't do it, but when people went, I can tell you I dont mind looking at all the pictures they brought back and going... WOW!!! THATS COOL!!!!! laugh )(umm if i believed the lunar landing was real, and not a hoax, that is.. {{{{COUGH}}}}}} ....LOL)

Like you asking people why they even bother modding the Contours in the first place...

...or maybe like telling people in your experience (and looking at your still posted dyno numbers doesn't look promising) the only mods worth it are exhaust...

Half the time you post something it's wrong and the other half you are covering it up or badmouthing something/someone else...

So saying "You Can fit" the kenne belle S/C on a Contour as a fact. Then coming back and saying, we'll I "believe" this, I "believe" that should be considered what else... Come on now...

..and before you ask for proof realize I have already searched for the old posts so don't go trying to delete them...

BTW - everyone called you on this (again) and you target me (again)...

Now enough of this personal BS fest between us...

Don't spout off BS and you won't get any back...

IMO...

Obviously it would fit the SVT with a 3.0 easily, yes, you would need a hood, but I bet the added cost of the hood would be less headache than some of the Vortech guys are having (this from a guy with a vortech sitting in his garage....DOH)

With no hood it's easier to plumb up the lines for your 3-stage NAWS :p

what stupid logic... I KNOW A JET PLANE FLIES, I CAN ONLY ASSUME HOW... IF I DON'T KNOW HOW IT FLIES I HAVE TO MAKE STATMENTS LIKE "I BELIEVE IT USES DRAG, THRUST, LIFT, ETC"

it is possible to know something works without actually knowing how.

i am offically a troll... so take my information and advice with a grain of salt.

Bret, Did they ever quote you a price for the roots blower? I have yet to see a price tag listed in any reveiw or online.
