zetecracing i dont know who mark is but he needs to get out and tune some of these zetec engines or any engine for that matter we hit 100% duty cycle on the mustangs with 10 to 12 psi vortec also
we do not use the cheesy fmu we do this with the stock fuel psi like it should be done

ohsigmachi who said you have to run 18psi so you have 70.000 miles on your car so only run 10psi or 8 or 4 that is up to you and how you set your regulator

wonj yes i am running 100oct i feel like it is needed to run anything over 13psi just to be safe
after i do 1 or 2 contours on my dyno to make sure they are the same as the focus as for controling the fuel and timing i can send the chip out with the turbo kits

as for terrys kits if his kits are 2600.00 he should bring them out i think there is a market for them, his kits are half the price so there has to be a nother reason why he is not doing them other then mine

other turbo kits for the zetec
F-MAX we are going to test this kit in about 2 weeks
GUDE 1800.00 + some type of fuel needed we have made chips for this kit on our dyno it made 208hp at the wheel with 10psi 42lbs INJECTORS WERE AT 87% check with mark and see what he sais about a nother one useing 100% of 42`s

both these kits should fit the contour and work very well

yes my kit is a lot of money but it is the best one out there so far its clean ,well thought out,and it works

1turbofocus Your kit may be good but for me the price of admission is out of reach. With 5000 to blow I wouldn't be driving a Mystique

Terrys stage III kit includes pectel unit (stand alone ECU) that )why is on the 5000'S. I have know Terry Haines for quite a while and He is the kind of guy who like to to do thing right the first time, so That is the reason he is taking long to release his kit. No matter what other say Terrys products are the best of the best.

DAMN right, i love terry hes friggin awesome, and if just about 100% of CEG members trust in him and would rather wait on him and spend the same on his kit as yours when they could get yours now, then im going to have to stay with terry. plus he has given me a lot of info and a lot of reports on how the project is going whether it be good or bad, BUT (this is for you terry) I personally think that you should do both options for the stage II , give us the option of buying the whole kit w/ everything, rods and all for what about $5000, and also the option of buying the kit part by part for those of us who cant shell out that much money at one time.

just my .02 laugh

No offense here, but 6 months in which the engine hasn't blown is NOT tried and true evidence that your kit is worthy of the steep price tag. If you have not completely torn down the engine since the turbo has been on you have no idea of the level of wear and tear that the engine has been put through or when it will blow. To me, a teardown and personal inspection still doesn't compare to the hours that it should spend on an engine dyno, but at least it's something.

This is in no means to disrespect you, the fact that you put so much work into your car is commendable. I personally feel like you are leaving a lot to be desired though when it comes to the reliability of the kit, like I said one engine with six months of driving time isn't exactly ideal.

To put it into perspective, people that have had a Vortech supercharger over the past year are now having problems with them...obviously the product was not engineered well and there was very little, if any durability tests run to make sure all would go well.

If I were you (and trust me I wish I had a 300 hp pocket rocket!) I would log a LOT of miles on your engine, throw a few prototypes on a few of your friends' (read: people that won't sue you) rides, and then tear them all down and see how you're looking after some significant amount of time with that kind of power.

Until then I would be extrememly weary of your product, as stated earlier the CEG has been burned by Vortech already (and I wouldn't be surprised if someone takes legal action soon, assuming Vortech doesn't recall them all) so we're kind of weary of untested products.

So take this for what it's worth, like I said it's not an insult or a discrediting of your character, but rather as my statement of what may need to be done for your kit to gain credibility in terms of reliability.

Just my $.02
