Hey Ser guy, are you running a turbo I or turbo II engine in your daytona? Or didn't the early nineties R/Ts come with the turbo III? Just wondering becuase I have a turbo II in my Sundance that I am going to disassemble soon. I also have a spare set of comp cams race cams too. If you need anything for your project my engine has just about every part Mopar Performance ever made for these engines. I also have one of the elusive upgrade computers for the turbo IIs that I might be willing to let go of.
About that MR2, a lot of the late eighties ones came with a S/C and a lot of people add turbos onto as well. Even with the S/C those things only had @140HP. The turbo and S/C complement each other very well on those cars. Since the s/c is a roots style driven by the crank it doesn't have any lag so it keeps the engine under boost until the turbo kicks in, after that you better hold on since your now driving a 200HP 1600lbs pocket rocket
