What happens with platinum polugs and nitrous? Meltdown? Pre-ignition? Both?

The nitrous (and high cylinder pressures) will pit and destroy the platinum tips causing them to come apart.

According to John at NGK Tech, the TR6 (Nickle/Copper) #4177 is the best plug choice for an SVT on the bottle. Idle might be rougher, but it a full step colder than the stock plug.

bosch platnums are total crap plugs. anything else is better. the bosch plugs cause a light load missfire. that is why we never experiance this condition because we always drive the crap out of our cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!
