The comp ratio on the 3L depends on a few things.

The comp ratio is going to sort of dictate how much boost you can safely run. The real power you gain is from how much CFM you can shove into the engine. Usually higher PSI means higher CFM.

If you have 9PSI of non-intercooled air, that's one thing.
If you have 7PSI of intercooled air that's another thing.

Depending on charge temp, you'll probably get more safe power from the 7PSI of intercooled air.

I would say ~10:1 would be good for about 7PSI intercooled (which, by the way, will be quite a bit of power)

I think warmonger is at 10.3:1 on his 3L right now. That should be alright.
