Well, since you are obviously not going to be the first one with the turbo installed, and we have at least three initial installs lined up after that, I don't think it would be purchasing without seeing results. I'm not asking anyone to pay for the turbo kit and "let's see if we can do this." A high level of engineering is going into the kit. This is not some exhaust shop that is welding a turbo to a manifold. This is getting done the right way and will be a reliable setup BEFORE it is sold to the general public. So, if you are planning on having cash earmarked for this kind of modification, be patient. This is going to happen and it will be sooner than you might think. -Chris

-Chris I have no doubt that it will be well designed, and i know results will be seen. Its just for me 5,000 dollars is a lot of money so i guess its just a decision on whether it is worth it ya know. I was on the brink of selling my car and trying to get an audi s4 but i really didn't want to be in debt for 35,000 $. I am not trying to sound like a doubter of your skill, i have seen some of the other accomplishments you have made and was impressed. I just like to see solidity such as dyno, 1/4 mile, track times ect. I also have been waiting for this for awhile and i am not in any hurry. Although i would not mind being able to beat my friends 99 m3 but i don't think thats very likely.

I know this may be a little less important than what is being discussed here currently, but I am interested in whether or not the turbo will be warrantied if it goes on a 3L hybrid motor.

The adaptation to the 3L is on the roadmap. A different BOV (louder) will be more expensive.
Jim, the AVC-R might not work well with the fuel computer we are using. You might want to get the kit without our fuel computer and use the AVC-R instead. After that, the tuning of it will be up to you.
I will have a lot more info about everything next week, including deposit info.
