Well, you can look at it this way:

Vortech supercharger, no intercooler, 9 PSI = around 270-300HP

If you where to take away the parasitic effects of a supercharger, and add an intercooler, one would assume more HP possible. Add ice to the intercooler's supply line, and you should get more power.

The kit will be running around 8PSI base. What you do with it later is up to you. (it does have a wastegate) However, the intercooler only flows around 450cfm which is still good for around 9-10PSI at 5000rpm on a 2.5L eek

Only a dyno run will reveal the amount of HP gains this kit will make. The car that the first kit is being developed on has already had numerous dyno runs before the turbo.

Sure. This will void any warranty provided by the company that is making this kit. The warranty is going to be 12 month unlimited milage, against manufacturers defects. If the engine is blown due to changing the boost pressure, you're on your own. We will have the exact wording of the warranty soon enough.

What about 3.0 motors. Will there need to be any special accomodations for the 3.0 swappers?

Also, are you accepting credit cards for purchasing the kit, or is this an all cash option?

Hey Chris, I've got a question to add on to Mike's question. How about Monopoly money??
laugh

But seriously, does the company that is making this plan on manufactoring them for awhile? Some of us might not have the money now, but would really really like to get one in a year or two.
