I personally wouldn't throw away my hard earned money not knowing what the finished product looks like or when I'll get my product (i.e. Body kit GB). Just my opinion but I don't think that everyone just has cash laying around to throw out to float in space while they wait. My money goes where the product shows.
The only way that these bezels will cost $20 a piece will be to get a group buy together. The die (the tool that stamps out the bezel) will cost several hundred dollars and if you can't afford $15-20 b/c you're not sure how it will turn out how do you expect me to invest that kind of money into this without knowing whether or not people will buy them? I'm sorry but the fact remains that CEG members have been less than loyal to their word so I'm a little skeptical about relying on what people say they're interested in.

I'm just like every one of you CEG'ers, I'm just an enthusiast and I would like to see our aftermarket increase in size. I'm not a big company with a lot of money to invest, I live day by day just like a lot of you so I'm going to need some support from the CEG on this to get it rolling. If this first piece sells well and there seems to be solid support, additional pieces will be designed and put into production without customer deposits.

I know that putting your faith in something you can't see is difficult and I sympathize with your point of view and I will assure you that I will make sure that the product is of the highest quality... or simply stated, I won't let it be produced and all those that invested will be reimbursed.

Oh and lastly, I will not collect money until I know exactly how much the die will cost and the time frame that it will take to make the die. In all honesty, between designing and tooling a simple die like this, it could be built in a day or two. Once it's built the parts will stamped out immediately and shipped out. So in reality, you'll most likely have to part with your money for a week or two at the most.
