I going to be putting nitrous on my 1999 SVT Contour and I was recommended to start off with a 50 shot but, want to go up to a 75 shot. Does anyone know if it will be safe to go up a 75? smile

I believe they say you can use up to 50% of your rated hp safely. So, that would be a 100hp shot. But i'd start at 50 and work your way up.

With a S/C would you be able to run a (haha) 150 shot?? or would it even be safe to hook up nitrous on a S/C??

I wouldn't go past 75 without some sort of help in the fuel delivery department.....

And FWIW, 125 can be run.....

Motor would go BOOM!

You could probably run like a 25-50 shot, just to act as a sort of intercooler, but I would be hesitant to try anything over that. When you put a 25 shot (or any other shot on a blown motor) the power you get is actually more than the shot, since it cools the air.

So a 25 shot might give you like 40-50 hp. Therefore, a 150 shot might give you 200-250 hp! Of course 550 hp would be nice laugh
