I am strongly considering it. By all accounts it should be at its best in a 3" pipe such as the CTA intake. Very likely the only thing that might pull me away from it is if I can find a bigger electric blower in the same general price range.

I looked at some of the suppliers of RC airplane motors, and unfortunately very few of them are well suited to twelve volt power.
