I know I've seen a few members post their interest in getting an aluminum bezel for the shifter bracket and I've been researching and I can have these made through my dad's tool and die shop. Preliminary prices look to be $15-20 (maybe less pending on die complexity) per bezel and they would be attached via 3M double sided tape.

If these sell well, trim rings will be made available for all of the door pulls and handle surrounds, but interest has to be here for the shifter bezel before I could offer any other pieces.

Again, these would be made out of REAL brushed aluminum, not aluminum colored plastic.I need to see sufficient interest before I'll pay the money for the die so if you want one make sure to post!

Ryan,

I'll buy one at the price mentioned. Do your self a favor - collect all cash up front before you commit, the CEG track record for supporting a group buy or part development speaks for itself. Before I get flamed to bits, yes it's a small percentage, and some do have legit resons. However a commitment is just that, a commitment.

But we all know who has bailed in past leaving others hung out........

Pardon my ignorance, just want to make sure I'm thinking of the right piece, we're talking about the piece that goes around the base of the shift boot and is black plastic right? I could be in on that sometime in the future, can't commit 100% to anything right now, but my interest is there.

Good idea d00d!! wink

Is it going to have the cool hex head screws on it like the Bullitt fuel door? That would be neat.

I 2nd that "Agree". I had over 30 people who wanted in on my Ground Control G.B. last year and ended up with only 15.

I'd seriously consider at that price.
